Sorry about that...

WOW. Working is seriously cutting into my writing time. But I'm totally not complaining! :) If they have guest wireless at work, I'll just start writing on my lunch hour!
Work: Good job. Great people. I think I'm convincing them how much they need me (read as: they need a receptionist/admin at the front desk, not necessarily me, per se. Still working on the ME part!).
Home: Still hoping and praying for the perfect buyer to come along at the perfect time. In the meantime, if you know of anyone who needs to rent a room for the short-term, let me know!
Life in general: I get up at 6:00 in the morning and get some good quiet time while eating breakfast. When I get home I only have about 3 1/2 hours until bedtime, 1 of which should be spent at the gym. Not to mention meetings and stuff. Busy, busy, busy.
The Gym: Working on the treadmill still, but have added arms and legs resistance training. And sitting on a ball. Beth will be happy about that.
Food: Pretty good, except today. Today was a massive fail. That's what tomorrow is for, I think: a new day to start again!
Retreat planning: Excellent! I have a great team and we have already got a lot done. After our next meeting we'll be on track and ready to rock this thing for Jesus! No, that's not our theme, that's just me being enthusiastic. Our subject is "It's a New Day With the Lord!", and our theme is sunshine.Yes, you heard me, I said SUNSHINE! So there!
(For those who don't know, I live in Washington State and we are having a really mild summer - to put it nicely.)
Prayer Shawl Ministry: We're on hiatus for the summer, but have delivered 40 shawls so far this year. They go to anyone who is hurting emotionally or physically, from injury or economy or life trauma. Our team has delivered shawls and blankets across the community and across the world. The shawl is a symbol of: 1) God's love wrapping the recipient in His embrace; 2) Our prayers wrapping the recipient in love and caring even after the shawl is delivered; 3) can be used to alert others that it's the recipient's quiet time with the Lord. All that, and it keeps you warm, too.
Well, enough for tonight.
Love in Christ,
Sharon
